Dorothy-Frances Books includes several types of books. Fiction books provide a fun outlet and non-fiction could provide a way for every child to learn and understand scientific facts and ideas. Illustrated books, such as those in Picture Books, can inspire visual interest and a more positive reading experience for children and beginning, young readers.

Dr. Helena A. DeLuca contributes our dental-related books. Dr. DeLuca has her doctorate degree in Dental Medicine, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry. Some of her books relate stories that can teach children about why they may need orthodontic treatment (braces), or what might happen if they were to break a tooth playing sports.

Dr. DeLuca created a character, Dr. D, who is a Dalmatian-dog dentist who treats animal patients. This approach provides a fun way to learn some dental information.
